Our Story

About Kala Mehndi

It all began with just one henna tube given to me by Jazmin, an Israeli woman, whom I met in a festival in Guatemala ten years ago -one of those people who just plants a seed without knowing it-. She did a mehndi on me and I fell in love right away with such an amazing and unique art. I never let go of a henna tube ever again! I began exploring passionately, respecting the mehndi art much more, and researching different techniques and styles.

The Small Details

I created Kala Mehndi which, in Hindi language, Kala (कला) means art and Mehndi (मेहंदी) in the occidental culture, means temporary henna tattoos, in order to share my passion with much more henna lovers. To me, each bride is unique, so I feel honored to embellish them with one-of-a-kind designs they can feel identified with. My team and I are currently in Cabo San Lucas, but available to travel to weddings and events all around Mexico. We have collaborated with different companies such as Cabo Wedding Services, Cabo Fine Entretainment, Penzi Weddings among others.
